Whats Happening around the Club?

From all of us at Cairns Saints AFC, we pay tribute to those who served and commemorate their enduring legacy. #AnzacDay #LestWeForget 🌺" The Colts had a nice solid win to start the season with a 134 - 7 victory over Cape York. They were well lead by captain Daniel Statton and vice - captain Darby Drake. Fred Thompson had a great first game for the club and Cooper Glass, Jack Murphy and Harley Bell were solid contributors all day. We had 5 multiple goal kickers with Alex Lammert leading the way with 4 majors. Join us tomorrow night under the lights at Cazaly’s stadium for our Anzac Day matches. Kicking off with Development at 3:30pm, followed by our Women at 5:30pm and concluding the day with our Senior men at 7:10pm 🔴⚪️⚫️ U13 boys started the season off to a flyer vs Cape York with a 74 - 2 win. Under 11's had their first round against Suns on Sunday morning, with our players each taking a turn in a Sun's jersey to even up the teams. We welcomed some new players to the squad, including Molly who scored 2 goals in her first ever AFL game, earning her one of this week's player awards. Really good performance from the Saints Under 9s team against the Suns. Under-8's Red played their first match of the season against Centrals. Every player got a touch of the ball, with a few goals scored. Everyone enjoyed the oranges at halftime 🍊. Under 8’s black!
